Male vs. Female

Are you undecided about adopting a male puppy? The sterotypes for males, such as hiking of the leg to mark territory, humping on things, etc... are common reasons why most people do not adopt a male. Here are a few opinions of our experience that might help you in your decision making. If you neuter a male between 2 to 6 month, you would remove the normal male hormonal tendancies as mentioned above. The desireable traits would be an even more obdient and affectionate male, females can be a bit more temperamental. From our own experience, males that have been neutered early tend to potty train easier and quicker and they will tend to squat like females. Some of the doggy squabbles in the house and yard are usually amoung the females. Our males rarely squabble, because they are to busy playing with each other. Don't get me wrong, females make excellent pets, but males make excellent pets too.
